Join Jenifer Krause for a 4 week introductory course to Ashtanga Yoga. This course will leave you with a good foundation to be able to continue the Mysore Ashtanga practice on your own or with us at the studio. Perfect for beginners of yoga, or the mysore style as well as seasoned practitioners looking for some more practice or a refresher!
What you will learn:
The fundamentals of what Ashtanga Yoga is
Mysore Style & Led Classes
Alignment in postures
Breathing & focal points
Sun Salutations & the standing and possibly the beginning postures of the Primary Series (dependant upon the individual student)
Ashtanga yoga is a set series of postures designed to build strength and flexibility, The Primary series is designed to cleanse the body of impurities and improve overall health throughout the body, mind and spirit.
Enrolled students for this 4 week workshop series will have complimentary access to the Mon, Wed, Fri 5:30am-8am Mysore practice during the 4 weeks!
